Step 1 “I always lay my flowers out on the table before I start so I can see what I’m working with. I like to have a mixture of filler flowers like spirea and focal flowers like this ranunculus.”
Step 2 “To create the foliage framework start by taking one stem and placing it in your left hand. And you get your next stem and place it over the top. Keep building in this way turning it as you go so you create a really lovely, varied framework in which we can put our flowers.
I’ve gone with a really feminine, pretty colour palette for Mother’s Day and I think this would be such a lovely thing to give your mum.”
Step 3 “Tie with a length of ribbon to secure. It’s a bit fiddly but you just want to wrap it enough times so you know it’s not going to go anywhere.”
Step 4 “To finish the bouquet I’ve wrapped it in lots of lovely sugary pink tissue paper because I know she’ll love it.”
The finished bouquet alongside Rowan’s favourite products, Wonderwand Lipstick in Muse, Marbled Light Illuminating Powder Foundation in Cashmere and Dewy Stix in Glow.
